why does a haircut cost the same regardless of how much you cut off?
why donāt you have a trim price?
The answer is simpleā
When you get a haircut you are paying for a end result/look.
A stylist has to put their knowledge and skill behind each cut. We have to pay for the education that allows us to know how to achieve the cut you want. Although it might not take long, or it might seem easy, a āsimpleā one length cut still takes a lot of skill. As a stylist I have to have the knowledge to know how to give you that one length ātrimā while keeping you ends how you like them. A simple shift in my finger angle, body position or shear position and your ends can go from being blunt to being those, āI didnāt get my haircutā ends.
From another perspective we donāt charge more when we take off 8 inches vs 1. It doesnāt take much knowledge to take off length... it takes knowledge behind how to remove hair to achieve a particular end result& thatās what you pay for!
Before entering the indr I didnāt understand āthe whyā behind so many things. I love answering these questions and explaining the reasoning to you, so that you can better understand.
thanks for readingā„
